*2-5 students per boat, sometimes with instructors.

Adventurers is a class for sailors that prefer a more low key approach to the sport of sailing or for older children who are new to sailing. Sailors in this class will work on developing the basic navigation and seamanship skills that they need to safely partake in leisure sailing. This includes anchoring, making a mooring, docking, boat care, steering, sail trim, and knots. Students in this class may or may not sail with an instructor. This class primarily uses Beetle Cats and Sunfish to explore the Hyannis Port area, including excursions into Lewis Bay and (wind permitting) Nantucket Sound. Sailors may also sail to other local destinations for swimming and beach exploration.
